Everything about automated tender documents analysis

What is automated tender documents analysis?
Automated tender documents analysis means uploading the ZIP archive of your tender documents into Doaken. The platform reads every document (invitation to tender, technical specifications, administrative clauses, annexes, drawings) and produces a structured summary: lot identification, evaluation criteria with their weightings, deadlines, technical requirements and required documents. The result feeds directly into the next steps: Go/No-Go score, technical proposal and bill of quantities pricing.
Which tender document formats are supported?
Doaken accepts ZIP archives as downloaded from e-procurement platforms (PLACE, AWS, Maximilien, Klekoon, Marches-securises.fr, etc.). Inside the ZIP, all common formats are supported: PDF, Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx) and images. No prior conversion is needed.
How long does the analysis take?
The automated analysis takes between 3 and 10 minutes depending on the file size. By comparison, manually analyzing a medium-sized tender file takes one person 2 to 6 hours. For complex tenders with hundreds of pages, the gap is even larger.
Does the analysis replace human reading of the tender documents?
No. The automated analysis structures and prioritizes the tender information so your teams can focus on strategic points. It does not replace human judgment: your staff validates the summary, identifies sector-specific concerns, and makes the final decision. The goal is to eliminate tedious reading work, not domain expertise.
What information is extracted from the tender documents?
Doaken extracts: lots and their scope, evaluation criteria and weightings, deadlines (submission, start of works), technical requirements from the technical specifications, required administrative documents (DC1, DC2, certificates), specific constraints (site visit, variants, conditional tranches) and quantitative data useful for pricing.
